I painted this from a photograph of my sister and niece after Bronte's first ballet concert. Both mum and Bronte were exhausted and I wanted to convey the life of a ballet mum - heading home after an exhausting day to all the chores waiting for 'ballet mum' at home. This painting will be on display at Brunswick Street Gallery in Melbourne during May 2015.
