Description
Located on Sea Hill, Curtis Island in Queensland, this replacement lighthouse was built in 1895 and served as a significant landmark structure for the early immigrants to Queensland, when the quarantine station was located here. It has special significance for my family, who lived there in the early 1960's. Regretfully, we moved from the island when I was quite young. However, we still visit the island for holidays and my father enjoys his retirement there.....
